We tend to use competence-based interviews during the recruitment process as well as questions relevant to your technical areas of expertise, or skills. So, prepare a range of examples of how you approach your challenges and successes, and how you deal with both positive and negative outcomes in your life; for both work if that is relevant, or during your academic experiences or even life in general, if you are an early career applicant.
