Regional Sales Account Manager -Southwest (Texas)
Victrex are recruiting for a Regional Sales Account Manager for the Southwest, preferably based in Texas. In this role, you will operate as the point of contact with direct buying customers to grow relationships and to improve customer experience according to appropriate service levels. You will proactively support all of Victrex Industries, with a focus on the oil & gas industry, and leverage internal cross-functional teams to grow revenue and maximize profits.
The role is expected to spend 30-40% of time visiting customers, which may result in frequent travel if not based in Texas. A car allowance is provided with our competitive offer package.
The ideal candidate will have strong proven sales experience, along with some polymer and industry knowledge.
Accountabilities
For the relevant buying customers (both existing and new) and/or region the SAM is accountable for:
- Growing revenue and profitability of a portfolio of direct buying customers mainly characterized as Service or Partner
- Serving as the main point of contact for all customer account management matters to build strong and sustainable client relationships, support needs timely according to appropriate service’s levels aligned within the Customer Characterization (Partner, Service or On-Demand) and Revenue threshold for maintaining and growing Revenue.
- Identifying potential areas of improvement and liaising with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire Customer Experience
- Proactively Support SBU’s Business Development Teams to industrialize new production, to identify translation opportunities for existing applications or to introduce New Products at the buying accounts.
- Managing Price Quotation within the agreed time frame and negotiate prices as per defined authority in pricing tool and close agreements to maximize profits and prolong successful relationship
- Forecast and track account’s KPIs
- Monitor and analyze customer's use of our product vs competitive products to gain additional market share where possible
- Document progress, issues, and support needs to allow oversight of forward momentum and business decision making through an accurate view of customer activity and pipeline in CRM (meeting reports & target management)
