We have a fantastic opportunity to work as a Supply Planner within our Global Supply Chain Team, developing plans and schedules that provide high quality of customer service, whilst ensuring we balance commercial demands with cash flow, space and manufacturing capability requirements and constraints
More about the role
The role is based within our Planning Team part of the central Supply Chain team based at Hillhouse and will develop and coordinate production plans and stock management activity across a specific portfolio.
The role works directly with manufacturing teams and third parties to optimise production plans, balancing stock holding, service and manufacturing costs. The successful candidate will identify and implement supply chain cost saving initiatives in line with cost of manufacture targets, contributing to the development of new supply chains in your planning portfolios to support business growth and speed to market.
Your experience
The successful candidate will manage the phasing in and out of new products, providing stock availability and minimise slow moving and obsolete product. In addition, this role manages third party vendors, ensuring a level of service and quality in line with Victrex standards. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions quickly is necessary.
Our ideal candidate will bring experience of working within an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework, as well as strong influencing and relationship building skills and experience of driving compliance against process and governance. This role will also identify continuous improvements and take the lead in implementing change. Ideally, you will be degree qualified with experience within a supply chain / planning role. Experience of using an ERP system e.g., Dynamics AX, D365 F&O or SAP is essential.
