About the Role:
As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that our products and services consistently meet the highest standards. You will be at the forefront of driving a positive quality culture across the organization and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Be a key player within the Leadership team of the Regulatory and Quality Group, driving quality governance and strategy development.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the entire quality assurance process from development to post-production, ensuring compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a dedicated QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and monitor systems to continuously improve quality, utilizing tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, 8D Problem Solving Tools, and SPC.
- Audit Management: Lead and manage the quality management system audit program, covering customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Training and Development: Provide training for new and current staff on elements of the QMS, ensuring competency and continuous professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Professional: A seasoned quality professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in implementing QMS strategies and processes, meeting the requirements of standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF16949, and ISO 13485.
- Quality Culture Champion: Proven experience in driving a positive quality culture and managing a team of quality professionals.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, auditing in highly regulated industries, and deploying quality tools for process optimization.
- Project Management Skills: Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Educational Background: A graduate in polymer, engineering, or quality discipline, with additional qualifications such as trained auditor being highly desirable.
