Are you an organised and customer-focused HR professional looking for an opportunity to develop your HR career in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an HR Associate to join our HR Operations team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you will provide comprehensive administrative support and first-line HR advice to employees, managers and members of the HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with solid generalist knowledge who enjoys delivering a high-quality service and helping create a positive employee experience.
About the Role
As an HR Associate, you will play a key role in supporting HR activities across the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring HR documentation, records and systems are maintained accurately and compliantly, whilst providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Process and administer HR documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is appropriately filed and managed.
Support the integrity and quality of HR data through accurate and timely data entry and maintenance.
Produce HR letters and documentation to support business requirements.
Provide administrative support across a range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding and medical referrals.
Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers, providing basic HR advice and guidance on people policies and procedures.
Escalate more complex queries to the appropriate HR colleagues when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A solid generalist understanding of HR practices and processes.
Experience working within an HR environment.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Experience of working with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records.
Essential Qualifications
CIPD Associate Member.
CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
