PMO Analyst

We are pleased to invite applications for the exciting position of a Project Managment Office Analyst. This role offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual, interested in a role that spans the entire Victrex Enterprise. Role Overview
As a PMO Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the business on our journey into Enterprise Portfolio Project Managment. Reporting outputs to all levels within the business, your responsibilities will include tracking project metrics, analysing project performance, and developing comprehensive reports to drive project efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the successful delivery of our strategic imperatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse project data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement such as pipeline velocity.
- Prepare and distribute regular project, programme and portfolio status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects create defined project documentation, including schedules and risk logs and escalate non-compliance
- Own data standards, reports and lead processes to resolve issues and minimise recurrence.
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including creation of new projects in VIPS, bulk uploads etc.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of project management tools and software, including user access, templates, project folders and addition of new projects.
- Review project lessons learnt, publishing critical learnings and themes, to drive continuous improvement in project execution
- Support the identification and management of project risks and issues.
- Administer resource management process from a project and portfolio level, providing actual effort to Finance for journals and analysing trends in resource utilisation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of PMO processes and best practices.
- Establish and maintain Projects SharePoint site as single point of information for Enterprise-wide Project, Programme and Portfolio management.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals with a keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be adept at handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously whilst managing priorities, have a proven track-record of delivering to promise, and a systematic approach to deriving insights from data.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
Desirable Skills
- Certification in APM PFQ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBi
- Familiarity with project management software
- Proven experience in a project management or analytical role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
